Construx Software. The company I founded
more than 10 years ago continues to keep me involved in ever more interesting projects. As CEO and Chief
Software Engineer, building the company consumes a lot of my time. Construx sponsors a seminar series in Bellevue,
Washington, as well as onsite
seminars. We offer consulting services, which you
can read about on Construx's website.
One of my annual highlights is Construx's
Executive Summit held each fall,
which this year drew more than 50 executives from around the world.
One of the coolest things we've created is our Professional
Development Ladder. We have used this internally for several years and are
now offering it to other companies.
Another cool project has been our software engineering framework, CxOne.
This is a "right weight" software process framework that you can buy
and use as is or that Construx can customize for your specific
environment.
Estimation Book.
I finally finished my software estimation
book after 8 years! You can read about it on the
Software Estimation: Demystifying the Black
Art web page.
I'm also kicking around
other book ideas for my next
book.
